The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center has been the choice for many concerts and theatrical productions over the years. Artists such as Winona Judd, Lee Ann Womack, and Sammy Kershaw delighted country music fans, David Copperfield mystified audiences with his magic, and Hal Holbrook gave a memorable performance as Mark Twain. Broadway traveled to Houma with musicals such as Cats, Cabaret, Chicago, and Rent, while kids’ shows took center stage with Blue Clues, My Little Pony, Disney on Ice-Princess Wishes, and Disney Playhouse’s Choo-Choo Soul. It’s no wonder we’re called South Louisiana’s Favorite Showplace!
Whether it’s a small, more intimate crowd you’re looking to attract or a large audience, our multi-purpose facility can transform into the layout you’re looking for, whether it’s an end stage setup, half-house setup, or a theater configuration.
Just outside the arena, our spacious 7,000 square-foot lobby is versatile - designed for concession and merchandise sales, as well as the comfort of patrons. There is easy access to restrooms, an ATM, and a full-service box office, which is a certified Ticketmaster outlet. Parking is also one of our best features. Our venue is surrounded by three paved parking lots, capable of servicing over 1600 vehicle. All parking is free of charge.
Backstage, the Civic Center is equipped with a private staging area as well as six dressing rooms, which include four large team rooms and two small “Star” rooms for privacy, each having restroom and shower facilities.
