Nestled among the moss-covered oaks, historic plantation homes, and Cypress bayous of South Louisiana, the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center is an ideal location for your group convention or conference.
Some of the features inside our 100,000 square-foot facility include two exhibit halls for your trade booths, formal dining, or general sessions, as well as five meeting rooms for your breakout sessions, a spacious lobby for registration and vendors, dressing rooms and a covered front and rear loading area for ease of access.
Outdoors, the civic center is surrounded by 302,000 square-feet of paved parking, which can accommodate up to 1600 vehicles. And for those that like to travel by RV, there are 200 pedestals on-site, complete with access to water, 30-50 amps of electricity, and eight convenient dump stations. If a hotel is more to your liking, you will find more than a dozen local hotels within a few miles of the facility, including one adjacent to the Civic Center property that can provide top notch accommodations and amenities for your group and guests.
