So, you’re planning an event! Now what? Picking a venue is often times the first step in event planning, and planning your event at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center is the RIGHT step! From business meetings to Broadway, conventions to Carnival balls, dance recitals to receptions, our 100,000 square-foot multi-purpose facility has hosted a myriad of functions since opening in 1999.
Our main arena and exhibit hall includes 37,000 square feet of flat floor space, which can be divided to accommodate smaller events such as conventions that require separate space for tradeshows and banquets. For more intimate gatherings or breakout sessions, the adjacent meeting room wing of 10,000 square-feet is the perfect space, with its dividable rooms, adjustable lighting and warm interior.
In addition, our covered entry makes loading easy, while our spacious lobby invites you in. Parking is never an issue. The civic center is surrounded by three paved lots large enough to accommodate over 1600 vehicles. There are also 200 hook-up sites for RV’ers!

The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center also maintains a full-service computerized box office and Ticketmaster outlet for your event ticketing needs. And for disabled patrons, the facility meets all ADA standards.
