In South Louisiana, sports is a passion like no other, and at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center, sporting events are a main attraction! Over the last decade, the Civic Center has played host to rodeos such as the Fear No Evil Bull-Riding Challenge, indoor football, extreme motocross, boxing and mixed martial arts, and has seen such talents like the Harlem Globetrotters and the LSU Women’s and Nicholls’ Basketball Teams strut their stuff on the hardwood.
Our arena is approximately 39,000 square feet and features fixed retractable seating for over 3200 people, with additional endzone and floor seating available if your setup allows. The arena comes equipped with high beam sport lights and basketball scoreboards on either side.
Backstage, the Civic Center includes a spacious loading dock and annex, which can be used as a private staging area, as well as six dressing rooms - four large team rooms and two small “Star” rooms for privacy, each complete with restroom and shower facilities.
For patrons, there is convenient access to restrooms, concessions, an ATM, and full-service box office, which is a certified Ticketmaster outlet. Convenience is also key when it comes to parking. Our venue is surrounded by three paved parking lots, capable of servicing over 1600 vehicles and 200 RVs. Event parking is free of charge.
Specific arena dimensions, technical specifications, rental rates and policies, and more, are available for printing on our website for your convenience. For further assistance with date requests, formal booking or a personal tour, contact our Event Services Department. Let’s get ready to rumble!
