Concert and Theater

Host your next concert or theater show at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center. The Civic Center has hosted performances from national touring artists, Broadway shows, and family shows such as Disney Live! and Disney on Ice. Whether it’s a large audience or a small, more intimate crowd you’re looking to attract, the multi-purpose facility can transform into the layout that best accommodates your show needs.

  • Arena (39,000 sq.ft.) layouts include a theater configuration, half-house setup, or an end stage setup for up to 4,000 attendees.
  • Lobby (7,000 sq.ft.) is specious and versatile, designed for concession, merchandise sales, and the comfort of patrons. There is easy access to restrooms and ATM.
  • Meeting Room Wing (10,000 sq.ft.) can be configured for smaller, more intimate productions.
  • Full-service Box Office is a certified Ticketmaster® outlet.
  • Backstage, the Civic Center is equipped with a private staging area and six Dressing Rooms including four large team rooms and two small “Star” rooms for privacy, each having restroom and shower facilities.

Outdoor Event

The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center parking lots are ideal for your next outdoor event.  The Civic Center parking lots have hosted an array of events including festivals, fairs, fundraisers, road races, tent circuses, car shows, and corporate events.

  • 302,000 sq. ft. of paved, lighted parking lots, which can accommodate up to 1,600 vehicles.
  • Parking Lot C is equipped with hook-ups that can support approximately 200 recreational vehicles.  Pedestals include complete access to water and 30-50 amps of electricity, with several sewage dumping stations on site.

Private Special Event

Sporting Event

The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center is your destination for indoor sports in Louisiana’s Bayou Country!  The Civic Center Arena is 39,000 square feet and features fixed retractable seating for over 3,200 people, with additional endzone and floor seating available if your setup allows. The arena comes equipped with high beam sport lights and basketball scoreboards on either side. Fans have seen a variety of sports at the Civic Center including collegiate and high school basketball and volleyball, championship bull riding, boxing, and MMA competitions.

  • Multi-purpose sport court, basketball court and sports equipment (i.e. basketball goals, volleyball nets) can be added to your rental.
  • Lobby (7,000 sq.ft.) is specious and versatile, designed for concession, merchandise sales, and the comfort of patrons. There is easy access to restrooms and ATM.
  • Meeting Room Wing (10,000 sq.ft.) can be used for team meeting space and tournament offices.

Tradeshow

The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center is the largest event center in Louisiana’s Bayou Country!  The 100,000 square-foot facility includes a major exhibit hall, meeting room wing, spacious lobby, plus covered entry and convenient rear access for vendors, as well as plenty of free parking for vendors and guests.

  • The Civic Center Arena encompasses 39,000 square feet of unobstructed floor space and can accommodate up to 188-10×10 booths depending on the setup. For smaller expos, the arena is dividable into two separate exhibit halls. It is also fully-equipped with 24- 100 amp floor boxes for your electrical needs with additional power panel boxes for distribution. Water service and a drain are also provided by each floor box.
  • Meeting Room Wing (10,000 sq.ft.) for additional exhibit space. Wing can be divided into up to five individual rooms.
  • Lobby (7,000 sq.ft.) is specious and versatile, designed for concession, additional vendor displays, and the comfort of patrons. There is easy access to the restrooms and ATM.
  • Covered front and rear loading area for ease of access for your vendors.
  • Backstage, the Civic Center is equipped with a private staging area and six Dressing Rooms including four large team rooms and two small “Star” rooms for privacy, each having restroom and shower facilities.

Wedding and Reception

Weddings are one of life’s most precious moments. An event as significant as your wedding requires an exceptional setting. The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center offers an elegant, inviting backdrop perfect for your wedding and reception.

  • The Civic Center banquet and meeting rooms are located adjacent to the main arena.  This 10,000 sq.ft. space can be adjusted into as many as five separate rooms. The elegant décor is adorned in natural colors, tray ceilings with chandeliers, recessed lighting, and crown molding over a terrazzo tile floor. Tables and banquet chairs are included as part of normal setup.
  • Property includes plenty of paved, lighted parking lots, a large covered entry, and an outdoor digital marquee displaying the couple’s name.
  • Conveniently located near lodging to accommodate your out of town guests.
